I woke up early and started doing dishes. I needed to contribute,
and it is one of those cathartic things I like doing first thing
in the morning. Besides, Arrowone and crew had recently goten into
this space and they are still setting it up. The dishes had stacked
up from the busy-ness of the week, as dishes sometimes do, and I
figured it would be appreciated.

Soon
Arrowone was up and she joined in and quickly the whole kitchen
was reorganized. It was a good start for me and also she had some
friends come over that morning and they got to work on the rest
of the space; organizing and cleaning.

I
then continued to get some more emails out via Yahoo and set up
the website. Really frustrating. I wish I had never used Yahoo.
I could have just used my own webserver's service, but somehow thought
Yahoo would be easier. Then we got directions online and a map and
went shopping in L.A.; Napa, Kinkos, Healthfood store, Trader
Joes. I talked to D.A. on the phone about Bisbee and got some contacts
while in the health food store, then back to Arrowones to
prep squash and rice for our dinner at Joan's.
Joan
is a teacher and a friend of my dear friend Natasha in Portland,
and when Natasha says I need to meet someone, I follow her advice.
Driving to Joans we managed to get lost, but eventually found
our way. We had a great dinner talk about creating sustainable culture,
re-energizing our connection to time, travelling, intentions, discoveries,
on and on and on. It was hard to leave, we could have talked for
hours, but around 11:00 we headed back to the warehouse for another
connected conversation with Arrowone before heading off to sleep.
